Troy Valencia is an accomplished researcher, author, musician, and practitioner with a unique interdisciplinary background in science, psychology, and traditional Bwiti spiritual practice. He holds Master's degrees in Analytical Chemistry and East-West Psychology and is completing his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Troy is also the founder of Root & Wisdom, an Iboga platform in Costa Rica with his wife Joaly Trinidad, and the founder of Sacred Roots Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting Indigenous peoples and communities. Of Gabonese lineage on his paternal side, Troy integrates his cultural heritage with scientific and psychological expertise.
